Minister Joe O’Brien welcomes over €600,000 in funding for organisations in Rush and Lusk under the Sports Capital and Equipment Programme

It is great news for the towns of Rush and Lusk today as funding for five organisations has been announced under the Sports Capital and Equipment Programme. Rush and Lusk are growing towns and this funding will help to expand these clubs and increase participation which is beneficial to both the clubs and their members.

  • Rush Athletic FC - €124,412 for an Artificial Training Pitch

  • Round Towers Lusk GAA - €157,801 for LED Floodlighting of Pitch and Training Area

  • Rush Golf Club - €119,457 for Sustainability & Community Improvements

  • Rush Sailing Club - €89,488 for replacement electrics/dinghies/hard standing

  • St Maurs GAA club - €153,648 for LED Floodlighting and Upgrade to our Ball Wall
