Unveiling of mural created by young people at Oberstown Children Detention Campus

Great day today unveiling the mural created by young people at Oberstown Children Detention Campus and members of An Garda Síochána at Balbriggan Garda Station.

The mural was created through the collaboration of the two groups and symbolises the important relationship between An Garda Síochána and the young people at Oberstown Children Detention Campus.

The project is supported by Gaisce, The President’s Award, and the artwork was carried out by artist Joe Caslin. The mural is on display at Balbriggan Garda Station for now and will then be permanently on display at the Garda Training College in Templemore.
