A vibrant community and voluntary sector are vital to the Covid-19 recovery.”
“I oversee the Community Enhancement Programme which has provided the funding for LCDC’s nationally to support local initiatives such as the Skerries Allotments installing CCTV equipment at the site. Such infrastructure will ensure the safety of both the allotments and those who use it.”
“As well as this, funding has been provided to Skerries Men’s Shed for the Installation and wiring of lighting, heating and power supply to the shed and necessary electrical connection. The Skerries Men’s Shed is a fantastic community-based project, where men can come together to learn, share skills and make long-lasting friendships.”
